Turankoy beach sits on Erdek Bay in the Marmara Sea and is a quiet shore that families often prefer. Its fine sand and shallow water let young children enter the sea safely; in summer, water temperature is comfortable for swimming.

The beach is about 100 meters from Yildiz Apart Pension. Early mornings the shore is almost yours alone; it picks up gently in the afternoon without the noise of crowded city beaches. If you do not need sunbeds, a towel and umbrella on the sand is enough.

In the late afternoon the sea changes color and the Kaz Mountains silhouette turns red in the sun. Turankoy beach is ideal for photography, reading, or simply listening to the waves.
